After a one-year absence in 2020, the traditional “Holiday Lunches” organized for Uniag Cooperative members were back in 2021 with a new formula. Indeed, to ensure the respect of the sanitary measures, four administrators throughout the cooperative’s territory hosted the festivities on their farms, welcoming a total of 300 guests!

Those who used to gather at their local hardware store for a festive meal went instead to a local administrator’s farm to enjoy a delicious hot meal served on site by a food truck. Many were tempted by the hot wine prepared on site; a Scandinavian recipe with aromas of cinnamon, nutmeg, star anise and cloves that perfumed the place. In addition to the regulars, the four events attracted new faces, to everyone’s delight. “It’s a pleasure for me to see you and to let you discover my family and our farm, said Mr. Sylvain Brault, president of Uniag Cooperative and co-owner of Ferme Brault et frères inc. We hope you enjoy this new formula as much as we do!”

On Monday, December 13, Uniag Cooperative members met at Ferme Brault et frères inc. located in Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague. On Tuesday, December 14, the Smoking BBQ food truck went to Ontario, more precisely to Moose Creek, at the LCM Quesnel inc. farm. On Wednesday, December 15th, it was Ferme Lavigne inc. in Ste-Anne-de-Prescott that received its guests. Finally, the 2021 edition of the Holiday Lunches ended in Saint-Patrice-de-Sherrington at Ferme Grand Roux inc.
