On April 8, the Women’s Cooperative Forum once again demonstrated its relevance by bringing together over a hundred women from the agricultural sector, coming from Montérégie, Centre-du-Québec, and Estrie. This 15th edition, held at Hôtel Rive Gauche in Beloeil, offered a day full of reflection, meaningful exchanges, and inspiration.

A Memorable Talk with Marie-Claude Barrette

Among the highlights of the day was the conference by Marie-Claude Barrette, titled To the Rhythm of Life, which moved and inspired the participants. Through her heartfelt and resilient testimony, she encouraged each woman to embrace her journey with confidence and determination.

Digital Tools and Innovation Serving Women Farmers

The morning also featured a presentation by Ève Pontbriand-Sarao, agronomist and advisor in digital products and innovation at Sollio Agriculture. She introduced practical tools designed to support women farmers in their daily work in the digital age.

An Edition Marked by Sharing

The 2025 edition was particularly special: several former members of the organizing committee were invited as guests of honor, highlighting the commitment and collective legacy of this event.

“Each year, the Women’s Cooperative Forum is a unique opportunity for women in the agricultural sector to come together, exchange ideas, and inspire one another,” said Ms. Jeannine Chartrand, Chair of the organizing committee and of Covris Cooperative.
“The active participation of past organizers clearly shows that this event goes beyond just a single day: it is a strong, supportive network that continues to grow and evolve.”

See You in 2026!

True to its mission, the Forum is continuing its momentum and already invites all women in the agricultural sector to its 16th edition in 2026, where new topics and speakers will enrich this wonderful tradition.
