Every year, Sollio Agriculture organizes a meeting of its expert advisors. This event is an opportunity for all the network’s experts to get together to exchange ideas, attend conferences and highlight the successes of the past year. The most recent edition was held on September 11 and 12, 2024 in Saint-Hyacinthe, and featured presentations by Jean François Ménard, sports coach and mental trainer for athletes, as well as Isabelle Thibeault, anthropologist by training and insolvency and personal finance advisor, and Jacques Nantel, professor at HEC Montréal and specialist in marketing and consumer psychology.

Prestigious awards for the Uniag team

In the recognition segment, the expertise, commitment and performance of the Uniag team were remarkably recognized through various awards.

We would like to highlight the exemplary work of Gaëlle Thouny, consultant with the Animal Production team in Ontario, who was among the finalists for both the SYNCHRO Performance of the Year award and the coveted title of Ruminant Consultant of the Year.

In crop production, Marc Rochette, a consultant in the Napierville region, won two Performance Awards, one for innovative products and the other for fertilizers.

Bianca Taillefer, a field crop consultant in Ontario, won the Rising Star award for seed sales, in addition to being crowned Plant Sector Revelation of the Year among the entire network.

Rami Razzouk, horticultural production consultant, won the Crop Protection Performance Award plaque and the prestigious Horticultural Consultant of the Year trophy.

A strong presence in Club Maizex

Uniag also stands out with five experts qualified for the prestigious Club Maizex. This distinction underlines exceptional growth in the 1500 to 3000 ha and over 3000 ha categories. The members of Club Maizex are :
