Uniag Cooperative is proud to share some great news: we now own the building that has been home to our Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague operations for many years. This acquisition marks an important milestone for our cooperative and our commitment to the region.
By becoming the owner, we are consolidating our local presence and reaffirming our determination to continue building a strong relationship with the community and developing our services to meet your needs.
Recent improvements and new management
Several improvements have been made to the convenience store over the past year. These include an interior refit to optimize the customer experience, as well as an improved ready-to-eat service to meet customers’ growing needs. A new manager, Josiane Caissy, has been at the helm since autumn.
A celebration to highlight the acquisition
To mark this important milestone, Uniag Cooperative organized a small celebration on December 4 to highlight the acquisition and the excellent work accomplished by the new team in place at the Saint-Louis-de-Gonzague convenience store. The event brought together coop employees, managers and board members. Even Robert Brault, affectionately known as “Uncle Bob”, took part. Former operator of the establishment (formerly known as “Chez Oncle Bob”), Mr. Brault warmly praised the efforts made to ensure the continuity and evolution of services at this historic regional location.
