Napierville, April 19th, 2022 – It is with great pride that the members of Uniag Cooperative voted, last March, a historic patronage return of $5,286,063 at their fifth annual general meeting. The Board of Directors, employees, members and partners of the organization have risen to the challenge and have been rewarded for their hard work and dedication despite the uncertainty surrounding the pandemic.
The patronage dividend is the profit of the organization that is redistributed to the owners. In the case of a cooperative, the owners are the user members. Results like these demonstrate the relevance and success of the cooperative model.
