Uniag Cooperative’s Holiday Lunches and Brunch: Bringing People Together Across the Territory
Throughout the month of December, Uniag Cooperative held its traditional holiday gatherings, consisting of three dinners and one brunch, organized in various regions across its territory. These events brought together 475 members, producers, employees and partners in a warm and welcoming atmosphere conducive to meaningful exchanges.
These festive gatherings, which have become a valued tradition over the years, highlight the importance the cooperative places on proximity with its members and on cooperative life. They provide a privileged opportunity to come together, connect and mark the end of the year in a spirit of collaboration.
Strong participation across all regions
Participation was strong in every region served by Uniag Cooperative. In Saint-Polycarpe, 70 people attended the event. At Ferme Ricky in Saint-Albert, 220 members gathered. In Sherrington, the dinner held at the Les Jardins Multiforce company warehouse, in collaboration with Les Fermes Hotte & Van Winden, welcomed 110 participants. Finally, in Ormstown, 75 people took part in this opportunity for connection and exchange.
Gatherings at the heart of the cooperative model
Beyond the shared meals, these holiday dinners and brunch offered a valuable opportunity to strengthen relationships and highlight members’ commitment to their cooperative.
“The holiday meals are much more than annual events. They represent a meaningful opportunity to meet with our members, engage in conversation and recognize their essential contribution to the vitality of our cooperative. The strong participation observed this year reflects our members’ attachment to Uniag and the strength of our cooperative model,” said Mr. Hugo Landry, President of Uniag Cooperative.
Thanks to our partners
Uniag Cooperative would like to extend its sincere thanks to all participants, the teams and the host farms, as well as to its partners Desjardins Entreprises, Farm Credit Canada and Syngenta, whose support contributed significantly to the success of these gatherings.
As the new year approaches, Uniag Cooperative reaffirms its commitment to remaining close to its members and to continuing its mission of collaboration, support and sustainable development in service of local agriculture.
