On 7 February, Uniag Cooperative’s Dairy Performance Gala rewarded the region’s top dairy producers at the Auberge des Gallant in Ste-Marthe. The 2025 edition of the Gala was a celebration of the local dairy industry, showcasing those who are constantly pushing the boundaries of excellence and innovation in their field.
CThis annual event is an opportunity to highlight the hard work of dairy farmers. The festive casino-themed evening brought together producers, consultants and partners from the farming community. We would like to extend our warmest thanks to our partners:: Agro-Bio-Contrôle, Financement Agricole Canada, Desjardins Entreprises, Banque Nationale and Groupe Choquette et Fils.
For 2024, a number of awards were presented to celebrate the outstanding performance of dairy farms in the Montérégie-West and Eastern Ontario regions. The prize for best increase was awarded to Maple Oak Farm in Hinchinbrooke, Quebec, a farm that stood out by optimising its production by 0.1910.
In the coloured breeds, Ferme Vigilan, managed by Patrick Vincent and Émilie Therrien, took top honours thanks to a remarkable performance and a constant drive to improve.
For the Coop de Sainte-Marthe, it was Ferme Guyette that stood out with an impressive production of 2.97 kg of fat-protein, a result that testifies to rigorous and efficient management.
Finally, the long-awaited moment of the evening was the presentation of the Dairy Performance Club’s Top 5, highlighting the region’s most successful and inspiring producers. It was an emotional moment that crowned the efforts of those who, day after day, strive to ensure a prosperous future for the dairy industry.
