Key Highlights
This dairy production excellence competition has existed for many years, under different names and formats. The Dairy Performance version, as we know it today, has been in place since 2020. Notably, Ferme Nieuwenhof et Associés has ranked at the top every year since the competition’s launch. Ferme Beljacar (Agiska Cooperative) and Ferme Dupas (Novago Cooperative) have also consistently placed in the Top 25 each year since 2020.
What is Dairy Performance?
The competition is open to dairy farms that do business with Sollio Agriculture. It recognizes producers who achieve outstanding annual results for combined protein and fat production in the bulk tank. In 2025, 442 recipients were honored for their hard work.
To qualify, farms had to reach the following thresholds:
Holstein breed: a score of 2.60 or higher
Mixed breed: a score of 2.15 or higher
This score is calculated using data collected through AgConnexion | Lactascan, which helps producers monitor their technical and economic performance. The competition is an opportunity to celebrate the sustained efforts of producers who are part of the broader cooperative network.
