Uniag Cooperative is proud to be part of this partnership that will bring many benefits to its members and provincial customers by finding outlets for farmers’ crops and meeting the needs of processor customers.
By combining the main grain merchandising activities of member cooperatives and Sollio Agriculture, it offers both proximity service and ease of transaction for farmers as well as financial gains for its members.
The new organization will also benefit from its close relationship with Sollio Agriculture’s grain sector, which trades 3.8 million tonnes of grain per year and provides access to its multiple facilities along the St. Lawrence Seaway.
The deployment of Sollio & Grains Québec will be progressive and will take place between July 20 and December 5. This means that the activities undertaken and ending by December 5 will be done with Uniag Cooperative. Activities straddling December 5 and later will be done with Sollio & Grains Québec.
That said, rest assured that your relationship with your agent and your cooperative will be preserved and that you will maintain this proximity with your stakeholders for the marketing of your crops.
