Napierville, june 15th, 2020 – At its annual general meeting held virtually on june 4, the members of la coop unifrontières voted in favour of adopting a new name for the cooperative: Uniag cooperative*.
A new name, the same dedicated team!
« La Coop Unifrontières has already evolved a lot in the last three years,” says Sylvain Brault, President of the Board of Directors. With the rebranding of Sollio Cooperative Group network, we have taken the opportunity to refresh our name to best serve the interests of our cooperative and our members in the short, medium and long term. »
Proudly displaying the network’s new visual signature, Uniag Cooperative has adopted a branding strategy to support this commitment.
« A tribute to Unifrontières, agriculture and farmers, Uniag Cooperative evokes the notions of innovation, agility and uniqueness, while being valid in both of Canada’s official languages,” says Jean-Sébastien Leblanc, General Manager of the cooperative. Among other things, these qualities will allow the organization to continue its development in the English-speaking market, without abandoning its heritage nor its current clientele. »
A gradual transition is planned over the next few months, following receipt of approval from the Ministère de l’Économie et Innovation and the modification to the Registraire des entreprises du Québec.
