Your cooperative is committed to fighting climate change
On 8 and 9 November, Uniag Cooperative held three information and exchange sessions with member producers on the carbon neutrality objective.
Although this was a first initiative of this kind for the cooperative, the producers responded to the call and showed interest and commitment to the approach.
At the end of these meetings, the cooperative is determined to solicit the various relevant authorities in its territory in order to carry out an inventory of the soils of a basin of field crop farms. This first step in taking a soil inventory is essential in order to measure the effects of the efforts made to increase the capture of greenhouse gases.
